Crews have started installing erosion control measures and will begin grading on the new Davidson River in Pisgah Forest. Whitmire Grading subcontracted portions of the work from the general contractor. The new bridge will replace the old and narrow bridge that has been in place for many years. With a turning lane and sufficient width the new bridge will enhance safety and alleviate congestion in the area
